Our Favorite Products for Frizzy Hair

Here are my all-time top 4 products for taming frizzy hair.

SURFACE-CURLS-SMOOTHING-CREAM-HILLSBOROUGH-SALONCurls Smoothing Cream by Surface Hair

What I love about this product is that it is incredibly light, a little bit goes a long way, and it has a subtle scent of vanilla. I have used it on all hair types and is my go-to product for my curly hair. For curly heads, I highly recommend applying to dampened hair. However it is light enough for dry hair, but not too much!

BASSU-OIL-SHINE-SPRAY-HILLSBOROUGH-SALONBassu Oil by Surface Hair

Bassu oil is my second favorite product because it’s so versatile and offers a lot of power in a small dose. Use on wet hair, either right before you blow-dry for a quicker blowdry or to airdry, and use it on dry hair to smooth frizz, add lost moisture, right before you flat iron just for added protection. It’s incredibly light, feels silky, and just a few drops go a long way.

KERATIN-HEALING-OIL-HAIR-TREATMENT-HILLSBOROUGH-SALONKeratin Healing Oil by L’Anza

If we are ever out of Bassu oil or my client’s hair needs a replenishment of keratin, this is the next oil that I recommend. It is also super versatile, is powerful, and helps restore lost keratin, bonus is smells wonderful. Again, use on wet hair, either right before you blowdry for a quicker blowdry or to airdry, and use it on dry hair to smooth frizz, add lost moisture, right before you flat iron just for added protection.

LOREAL-BRUSH-PROOF-HILLSBOROUGH-SALONBrush Proof Dry Conditioner by L’Oreal Professionnel

If you’re the type of person whose goal is to shampoo a few times as possible and you live and die by your dry shampoo, you also know how dry your hair can feel by the time you’re ready to shampoo. Brush Proof Dry Conditioner by L’Oreal is part of their Enforcer line and contains Biotin, B6, and light oils to help condition the hair. The best part is that you spray it on your brush, hopefully, a boar bristle brush, before brushing from ends to scalp. And it smells gorgeous!

Ask your hairstylist how you can get your hands on these awesome products because they’re only sold in professional salons!
